The Black Tortoise (Chinese: 玄武) is one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations. Despite its English name, it is usually depicted as a tortoise entwined together with a snake. It represents the north and the winter season, thus it is sometimes called Xuanwu (Black Tortoise, lit. Black Warrior) of the North (Chinese: 北方玄武).
At 12.5cm tall, 11cm wide and 8.8cm in depth and weighing 385g, this is definitely a gem have for any Sandalwood Album collector.
